My Journey

I embraced Jesus into my heart during a Vacation Bible Camp as I stood on the brink of entering the 7th grade. That pivotal moment marked the start of a relationship that has been both rocky and rewarding, seeing me through highs and lows.

In December 1996, amid a tumultuous marriage, I found God in a new light. What was once a one-sided conversation transformed into a deep, mutual understanding. Despite my marriage eventually ending in divorce, God’s unwavering support and love became the cornerstone of my life.

Juggling responsibilities as a single mom wasn’t without its challenges. Financial struggles, loneliness, and the fear of crumbling under pressure were constant companions. Yet, God’s omnipresent support saw me through. His guidance led me to volunteer in various ministries, illuminating my path with joy.

My journey has been graced by divine interventions – a chance to study with a full scholarship, incredible part-time and full-time job opportunities, and ultimately, the entrance of Scott into my life, marking the beginning of 20 years (and counting) of marital bliss (including blended family acclimations and bittersweet moments).

My heart resonates with the mission to inspire, encourage, educate, mentor, and motivate others. Through Speaking (LINK TO SPEAKING PAGE) and Coaching (LINK TO COACHING PAGE) it’s my mission to help them heal from the PAST, in the PRESENT, for the FUTURE! Whether it’s helping individuals grappling with self-worth, single mothers battling loneliness, or couples trying to navigate marital challenges, I strive to be a beacon of hope.
