“I want a divorce.” They were words that changed Georgette Beck’s life forever, and sent her on a path from brokenness to one of healing and beauty. As Georgette worked to painfully rebuild her life as a single mom of a precious young girl, she struggled to stay afloat, emotionally and financially. In the darkest moments, when Georgette felt unlovable and hopeless, God would wrap her in His arms, reminding Georgette of her worth and the wonderful future He wanted to lead her to.
Georgette Beck is a passionate writer and speaker of all heart matters, for “Heart Matters, Matter!” She is the Founder and CEO of Bella Healing Hearts Foundation, an organization that serves single-parent families in their moment of need as they begin their journey “healing from the past, in the present, for the future,” Georgette’s writing has been published in “Launching Out”, a collection of Christian inspirational stories and poems (Morris Publishing, 2011) and has many writing projects currently in progress. Georgette inspires, encourages, educates, and mentors others as they discover and achieve their God-given purpose. She resides in Florida with her husband and two dogs. She is a wife, a mom, a stepmom, daughter, sister, and a Grammy (of seven grandsons). She is also a reader, podcaster, speaker, and Realtor who loves art, culinary experiences, travel, photography, painting, and piano playing. Georgette attained her Master of Arts in Human Services Marriage & Family Counseling from Liberty University. Georgette and her husband can usually be found sitting by the oceanside, anywhere in the world.
Repeatedly, Georgette found herself running back to the arms of her Heavenly Father as she searched desperately for healing, belonging, and, most of all, love. Slowly, as Georgette grew closer in her relationship with God, she found the love that she truly needed, the love of her Heavenly Father and a love for herself.
In Junk to Jewels, Georgette tells her story with vulnerability and encouragement, giving hope to others that God’s plan for our story is bigger, fuller, and more wonderful than we could imagine. When we put our faith and trust in Him, He will never abandon us. Georgette’s narrative resonates with anyone who has felt discarded, for she realizes she’s not junk but a precious jewel, just like you.

Meet The Author
I embraced Jesus into my heart during a Vacation Bible Camp as I stood on the brink of entering the 7th grade. That pivotal moment marked the start of a relationship that has been both rocky and rewarding, seeing me through highs and lows.
In December 1996, amid a tumultuous marriage, I found God in a new light. What was once a one-sided conversation transformed into a deep, mutual understanding. Despite my marriage eventually ending in divorce, God’s unwavering support and love became the cornerstone of my life.
